Position Title: Product Handler

Department: Production

Location : Greeley, CO Value Added Plant

Purpose & Scope:

A Product Handler can be assigned to any department performing one or a combination of the following: tray supply, tray transfer, infeed, QC and other duties as assigned. Operator will need to perform and understand the following:

Job Description:

  • Understand grade, enhancement, ascorbic acid requirements

  • Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements

  • Understand pace flow and product handling methods

  • Understand product handling into appropriate machines

  • Maintain labor standards and pace

  • Constant walking and or standing

  • Use of hands to fingers

  • Feel objects

  • Reach with hands and arms

  • Lift up to 75 lbs

  • Vision capabilities

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Authorized to work in the US

  • 18 years of age or more

  • Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as needed

Working Conditions:

  • Cold environment

  • Manufacturing setting

  • Standing or walking for prolonged periods of time

  • Repetitive motion

  • Uneven surfaces and slippery floors

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $22.50 entry level
