Job Description
Performs advanced maintenance, calibration and repair of complex, diagnostic imaging devices, including but not limited to X-Ray, Computed Tomography, Radiographic/Fluoroscopy and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Equipment. Provides a high level of technical support to departments that use Imaging across the Health System.
Job Responsibility
1.Installs, calibrates, troubleshoots and repairs complex diagnostic imaging equipment and systems utilizing necessary tools and test equipment.
2.Performs preventative maintenance on complex imaging equipment, including but not limited to, Radiographic/fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, applicable codes, standards, and department policy.
3.Provides technical and operation assistance to equipment users.
4.Trains both Biomedical and Imaging Technicians to provide basic troubleshooting on imaging equipment.
5.Documents and maintains accurate records of all inspections, repairs, adjustments, and other service performed on imaging equipment.
6.Serves as a functional mentor and oversees work performed by the Imaging Service Technician to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Provides training when necessary.
7.Requests/orders necessary repair and spare parts according to established procedures and contract relationships.
8.Collaborate with leadership in selection of new equipment purchases, installations, service contract negotiations and provide recommendations for capital equipment replacements.
9.Participates in both internal and external educational programs through professional associations and Original Equipment Manufacturers, to develop and maintain required current technical aptitude.
10.Builds and maintains productive relationships with manufacturer's representatives to obtain the necessary technical product information.

Job Qualification
*Associate's degree or knowledge of biomedical engineering principles as normally acquired through completion of two (2) years of college, vocational or technical school, required.
*3-5 years of progressively responsible experience with imaging equipment and imaging device service including analog imaging device, networking technology and electronic practices, required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $91,400-$158,100/year
