Montana Credit Union Systems Administrator in Great Falls, Montana

Montana Credit Union is adding a Systems Administrator role to our IT Department! The Systems Administrator ensures that the credit union’s core computer systems and services operate efficiently and reliably. This role involves setting up, managing, and improving these systems with a focus on automation and continuous integration. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining system configurations, analyzing data, and generating reports to support business decisions. The Systems Administrator collaborates with vendors to enhance system performance, and stays updated on industry trends and new software solutions. Additionally, this role involves assisting with complex projects and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and effective technology operations.Well-qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Keen attention to detail, adaptability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, and a collaborative nature are required.To be considered, interested applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4+ years’ experience in IT support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and coding experience and familiarity with Microsoft SQL are preferred. Experience working in a financial institution is also preferred.
