Are you a skilled Coating Inspector (NACE) looking for a challenging opportunity to work on a critical project? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to ensure that all coating and painting activities meet the highest quality standards. As a Coating Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining project integrity and quality.Responsibilities:Report to the QA/QC Manager.Witness and document all coating activities, including surface preparation, approved coatings application, holiday testing, and final coating thickness measurements.Perform in-process inspection and testing of surface preparation and coating application following the Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) and Coating Inspection Procedure.Ensure all coatings adhere to contract specifications and manufacturer recommendations.Record inspection activities, including Dry Film Thickness (DFT), environmental conditions, anchor profile verification, and more, on Route Sheets.Maintain daily records to support documentation of coating activities.Ensure compliance with project-specific environmental requirements.Monitor the surface preparation, coating mixing, and application processes, ensuring they align with Coating Instructions and manufacturer recommendations.Inspect the finished product based on project inspection criteria.Identify and report non-conformities to the QA/QC Manager, following resolution procedures.Prepare and sign Coating Inspection Reports.Take and classify photos of trailer loads before final shipment.Perform verification and calibration of inspection instruments.Interpret relevant industry standards such as NACE, SSPC, and others.Detect non-compliant products and ensure adherence to safety rules.Ensure the application of appropriate instructions and procedures in the plant.Requirements:Current NACE Level I Coating Inspector certification.Familiarity with industry specifications, such as NACE, SSPC, and others referenced in specifications and procedures.Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, codes, drawings, and project specifications.Capacity to meet the physical requirements of a coating inspector.Proficiency in using computer software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Attention to detail is crucial.Must be able to work in variable climate conditions and wear respiratory protection when needed.Fluent in English.Key Attributes:Autonomy in work.Maturity and professionalism.Attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Cooperation within a team.Creativity in problem-solving.Strong critical analysis and good judgment.Diplomatic skills.High motivation and dynamism.Flexibility in adapting to new challenges.Willingness to work flexible hours.Proactive and able to take initiative.Leadership skills.Manual dexterity.Strong organizational skills.Respect for authority and confidentiality.Sense of accountability and responsibility.Efficiency in task execution.Ability to handle work-related stress.If you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute your expertise to a significant project, we invite you to apply today.
