We are looking for an Sr. Accountant for our RH Scott Branch Office located just outside the Malmstrom Air Force Base gate. 1st Liberty in a full service financial institution that offers a wide range of financial services; matching our members’ needs with our products and services. Come and join the strongest progressive Credit Union in the area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:•General Ledge daily balancing and entries •Daily Cash Management •Daily and monthly reconcilement of checks, general ledge accounts and bank accounts •Credit union payables •Credit/Debit card disputes, charge backs and GL accounts •Processing of VISA quarterly reports •Assists with preparation for month, quarter and year end GL accounting processes •Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports •Clerical support for investment portfolio and departmental backup duties •Various reporting and maintaining of proper documentationRequirements:•High School Diploma or Equivalent•Prefer a college degree in accounting or a similar curriculum and/or 3 year of financial institution experience in accounting or related experience•Prefer knowledge of financial institution accounting system and associated technology•Requires flexibility and is able to exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to direct and work with other members of staff within the credit union.
