Job Title: CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate vertical/horizontal 3 or 5 axis milling equipment. The role involves reading GD&T, drawings, specs, and other work instructions, as well as generating tool paths for 2D and 3D milling. Candidates must be proficient in horizontal machine setups. This position offers a competitive hourly rate up to $33.07 and operates on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Hard Skills

• Machining in the Automotive Industry

• Experience with Heidenhein, Fanuc, Fidia, Mitsubishi, Okuma, SMIRT, or YCM Machines

• Proficiency in horizontal machine setups

• Experience with Fanuc controls

• Journeyman Machining or Tool and Die certification

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grass Lake, Michigan.

Work Environment

The work environment features a large, clean shop with very large machines. It is not overly noisy, promoting a focused setting for precision work.
