If you have experience performing a variety of maintenance and repairs, then our Semi-Skilled Laborer position at Memorial Lake State Park may be the job for you.  Memorial Lake State Park is looking for a positive individual who strives to keep the park facilities in good working order for the safe, enjoyable recreation and relaxation of our park visitors.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK The position involves providing semi-skilled manual labor for the construction and upkeep of Memorial Lake State Park Complex, encompassing Memorial Lake, Swatara State Parks, J.E. Ibberson Conservation Area, and Boyd Big Tree Preserve. Tasks include repairing buildings and facilities using carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other trade tools, operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment, constructing cement forms, mowing grass, cutting firewood, cleaning areas, and planting trees and shrubs. Additionally, responsibilities entail general housekeeping, minor repairs, equipment maintenance, assisting visitors, and completing necessary documentation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
