Job Description:

Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. In conjunction with team members directs the patient flow of the day. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.This is a casual position.

Education Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room

  • Must have experience with electronic medical records

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

  • Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications within 6 months

Compensation Range: $36.30 - $54.45 / hour
