SVP, Head of Sedgwick Internal Creative Agency

PRIMARY PURPOSE : Drives the overall strategic and creative vision of the internal creative agency through the development of marketing collateral to support brand building, sales and account management, talent acquisition and internal communications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, directs, and sets strategic direction and long-term plans for the internal creative agency group, to align with Sedgwick’s global business goals.

  • Implements the roadmap to create, establish, execute, and maintain high quality brand standards across marketing collateral, content, photography, videos, and website material to increase engagement that drives profitable revenue.

  • Oversees a team that develops and presents unique, innovative, and strategic concepts and communication solutions for a variety of projects, including for design and copy in marketing, advertisements, web pages, print materials, and other marketing assets.

  • Leads all conceptual design development, delegating, and providing creative direction that aligns with branding and objectives for new and existing products across different portfolios, and oversees the execution of print and digital work the development of marketing collateral to support brand building, sales and account management, talent acquisition and internal communications.

  • Provides leadership and direction on the roll out of new brand guidelines, including a deepening development of visual, verbal, and tonal brand identity, creating a consistent and differentiated brand voice, look, and feel that represents the brand and assortment in a way that is captivating and relevant to our customer.

  • Drives the effectiveness of the creative team and integrates feedback from internal and external partners about the impact of the team’s output; develops and implements processes and tools to ensure efficient workflows based on data analysis.

  • Upskills the creative team to ensure the highest quality creative development; ensures the team is up to date on latest industry practices, trends, and technologies.

  • Partners regularly with stakeholders to ensure that the creative team is meeting client needs.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

  • Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.

  • Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, to include prior experience in a leadership role at a major ad agency or an in-house studio, required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing practices, including SEO and A/B testing

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and other design and editing tools

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Analytical and interpretive skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proven management/leadership skills

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
