Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with reviewing contract documentation, handling customer account reconciliations, and ensuring data accuracy within our ERP system. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and schedule project and change order invoicing based on contract documentation
• Collaborate with various departments to align billing with contract terms, pricing agreements, and company policies
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in coordination with relevant departments
• Conduct a detailed analysis and review for data accuracy within the ERP system
• Reconcile customer accounts and provide regular updates
• Prepare monthly management reporting package related to invoicing and analyze results
• Identify and resolve any customer-related invoicing or credit issues
• Generate departmental reports as required
• Use your skills in business systems, CRM, auditing, and capital management to ensure efficient processes and accurate records
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the management. Requirements
• Proficiency in Business Systems and Confluence is required.
• Experience with SAP and Crystal Reports is helpful.
• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques and About Time software.
• Proven knowledge of Accounting Functions and Auditing.
• Experience in Budget Processes and Capital Management.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or a similar role in the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
