Robert Half Software Engineer: III (Senior) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Description We are seeking a Software Engineer III (Senior) to be an integral part of our dynamic team. The role will be based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will involve working on complex software development projects within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems and technologies, and will be instrumental in meeting system requirements and enhancing our software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs and develop software solutions accordingly

• Collaborate with other software developers to write and implement software programming applications

• Modify and develop software applications to meet system requirements

• Support and install software applications and systems as required

• Participate in the testing process, including test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification of software

• Utilize knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures to accomplish goals

• Plan and execute tasks based on experience and judgement

• Employ creativity and latitude in solving complex tasks

• Implement and maintain EO/IR systems and AB testing

• Adhere to established planning and procedural practices. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Planning and Procedures, with a focus on software development processes.

• Proven experience in Research and Review of system requirements and software applications.

• Familiarity with best Practices in software engineering and programming.

• Proficiency in R Code and other relevant programming languages.

• Ability to use Creativity in problem-solving and developing software solutions.

• Experience with AB Testing for software application development.

• Knowledge and understanding of EO/IR systems.

• Ability to adhere to and improve company software development procedures and standards.
