Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

The Project Engineer will develop and document the manufacturing process for specific products that meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include creating work instructions, product routings, bill of materials, evaluating dimensional data to eliminate non-conformance, and adhering to standard manufacturing guidelines. This role involves troubleshooting issues throughout the development process and is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective production of sheet metal products within the aerospace and defense industry.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering experience

  • GD&T

  • AutoCAD or Inventor

  • Metal fabrication, welding, and/or machining

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving

  • Communication

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit the manufacturing floor. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, including an occasional weekend rotation day. During the weekend rotation, weekly hours will be adjusted to maintain an average of 40-45 hours per week.
