Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Job Description
This is a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician position working from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work when necessary. The role involves maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity, particularly in the mixing/mill area involving power transmission mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Maintain and support product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Respond to downtime situations to ensure machines are back up and running promptly.
Perform preventative maintenance on all work cells and document the maintenance performed.
Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.
Perform process verification procedures and follow the process deviation procedure when changing parameters.
Conduct repairs including fabricating, replacing bearings, repairing/replacing hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, and drives.
Perform minor facility maintenance repairs as needed.
Work closely with team members on maintenance issues.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance.
3 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
3 years of experience reading blueprints.
Experience in facilities maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with heavy mixing equipment.
Experience in automation.
Background in the automotive industry.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
