Aerotek Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan

Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Job Description

This is a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician position working from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as necessary. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. This role focuses on power transmission mechanical components such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer in the mixing/mill area.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to any downtime situations to get machinery back up and running.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all work cells and properly document maintenance performed.

  • Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.

  • Perform process verification procedures and follow process deviation procedures when changing parameters.

  • Conduct fabricating, repair, and replacement of bearings, hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, drives, and other drive material transfers.

  • Handle minor facility maintenance repairs.

  • Collaborate closely with team members on maintenance issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00
