Essential Functions:

  • Functional knowledge of enterprise resource planning software and shipping processes to effectively and efficiently post goods issue units, equipment, and material to customers

  • Process shipments using FedEx, UPS, DHL, and various Freight Forwarders

  • Functional knowledge of export and trade compliance, dangerous goods and hazardous materials transportation, customs documentation, certificates of conformance, and airway bills

  • Ensures compliance with government regulations, corporate and industry standards and procedures, and customer requirements

  • Responsible for filing of export SED’s

  • Proactively identify possible constraints to shipping while engaging with internal stakeholders in order to manage priorities to meet customer requirements

  • Process, maintain, and update various shared databases and customer portals with a high level of accuracy to ensure process continuity

  • Coordinate with Order Administration to process orders

  • Works closely with internal departments, customers, and carriers to receive, facilitate, and follow up on internal and external requests

  • Assist in looking for continuous improvements, increased efficiencies, and cost savings methods related to shipping

  • Ability to solve problems of basic complexity and apply solutions as necessary

  • Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment

  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience .

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Current/previous Dangerous Goods by Air certification

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy

  • Experience with MRP and Agile software tools (SAP Experience a Plus)

  • Organizational skills
