CNC Machinist/Programmer | Grand Rapids, MI.

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team, current availability is on 3rd shift. The pay range is $24 -28+/hour, based on experience. There are $1+ shift premiums offered for the off shifts. Training will take place on 1st shift for 30-90 days before moving to respective shifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce the required number of correct parts in a timely manner according to customer process documentation.

• Set up jobs on assigned machines.

• Perform inspections using various measurement tools, data collection, operator maintenance, and diagnosing equipment issues.

• GD&T, gauging, and measuring are crucial aspects of this department.

• Change tooling & troubleshoot machines.

• The runs will be anywhere from 20-70 pieces, and the parts are very complex with very close tolerances.
