Lockheed Martin Proposal Manager, Global Supply Chain in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description:

You will be the Global Supply Chain Proposal Manager for the Precision Fires Team. Our team is responsible for managing proposals across 5 different programs, developing strategic proposal vision, and identifying and managing complex supply chain proposal issues.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Global Supply Chain Proposal Manager, you will oversee the development and planning of proposals, ensuring adherence to estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), USG Business System Requirements, and other government regulations. You will also oversee the compilation of cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals and ensure comprehensive bid/price strategies are effectively shaped, developed, and matured. Your responsibilities will include:

• Direct research and analysis of historical data and development of cost models to support proposals and determine the accuracy of functional estimates

• Participate in should-cost/pricing reviews with management and customer representatives

• Serve as a member of the contract negotiating team

• Represent the estimating organization with other functions and interact with DCAA and other government agencies

• Direct and manage process improvements

• Develop, communicate, and implement Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, and conduct monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are implemented

• Possess comprehensive written and oral communication skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies.

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX Discover Grand Prairie.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

- Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

- Proposal experience with FAR/DFAR and TINA requirements.

-Excellent presentation (oral/written) with a strategic mindset.

-Experience with terms and conditions both between USG/Prime and Prime/Supplier.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
