Job Description

Summary of Job Purpose:

Works in coordination with the Master Schedulers and Supervisor on the throughput and outputs of the shop. Works as the Technical expert for his / her areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and implements training of subordinates, and ensures that they are properly trained for each task they are performing.

• Anticipates risk in meeting schedules.

• Ensures that safety is a priority.

• Ensures that priorities set by Master Scheduler and Supervisor are met and that uncorrected problems are referred to the appropriate personnel.

• Acts as the Key user for SAP

• Ensures 5S is applied to his / her line.

• May be assigned responsibility for all maintenance performed during his/her shift.

• Required “On Call” duty.

Complementary Description

Scopes and Accountabilities:

• Assists the Supervisor and Master Scheduler in meeting goals and objectives for the assigned LRUS area. Has authority to act at his own discretion, with routine review or audit by the LRUS Supervisor. Divulging of confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to damage to reputation and/or competitive posture of the company. Errors may lead to high risk of major damage to the organization resulting in the need to create an entirely new approach.

• Assigns and monitors work of subordinates, including training and coaching; assist in the performance of ongoing performance planning and appraisal.

Job Requirements

Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:

• Two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations that can be interpreted, adapted, and applied to the unique requirements of the organization.
