Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
Currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 1st shift. The candidate will be required to implement all maintenance activities at the site, ensuring repairs and changes are performed timely and flawlessly. This role is responsible for planning and supervising all hourly maintenance associates.
Responsibilities
Determine day-to-day priority scheduling and follow up of all maintenance activities and associates performing such work.
Ensure all necessary facilities systems are kept in reliable working condition and meet any required customer/regulatory specifications.
Develop and implement a maintenance associate development plan to ensure training and development of all associates supervised.
Coordinate all planned projects and outages with affected parties.
Ensure all programmed or scheduled activities are completed on time.
Ensure that all housekeeping duties are performed on time.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Take responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence and report any Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Ensure maintenance is kept up and issues are promptly addressed according to regulatory agencies such as fire and other agencies.
Work under management direction in audits and in enforcing safety regulations within the site.
Make decisions pertaining to routine maintenance and safe operation of all operating equipment including heating and cooling systems.
Essential Skills
Maintenance technician experience
Maintenance management
Maintenance supervision
Experience in Food and Beverage Manufacturing
Proficiency with maintenance software and planning
Knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Mechanical systems
Expertise in repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Supervisory skills
Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the food industry
Experience in the beverage industry
