POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for performing facility maintenance by repairing, maintaining and improving buildings and structures.

This position has a full-time schedule of Monday-Friday from 7:30a-4p, and will participate in on-call rotations every 16 weeks.

This position has a starting wage range of $22 - 23.10 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities. Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and trouble shooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall. Removing and replacing floor coverings. Refurbishing apartments. Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings. Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves). Overseeing and enforces facility safety. Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting. Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I. Must have reliable transportation. Available for on call rotation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Two years of college or four years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
