Minimum Qualifications:
NYS certification Early & Childhood Ed B-6; additional certification in Special Education or Literacy desired
Familiarity using technology to support instruction
Familiarity with Next Generation Learning Standards; early literacy and elementary literacy practices
Experience using assessment to differentiate instruction
Evidence of positive classroom management skills, strong communication skills
Ability to flex between grade levels; experience in teaching grades Pre K-5
Evidence of self-initiative and ability to collaborate within a team
Familiarity with Reader?s and Writer?s Workshop; enVision program
Duties: Responsibilities as per District needs; fill in for classroom and special area teachers. Participate in all building events and may substitute at per diem rate on fifth day
