Job Description:

Seeking someone who will be responsible for releasing products for shipping by ensuring proper documentation and certifications are in line with customer requirements, proficient operation of FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment, and providing technical support to the production floor. Additionally, this role involves developing calibration procedures, participating in quality audits, and leading continuous improvement projects.

Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years working preferably in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence

  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs

  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and the use of the Internet

  • Certification as a Quality Technician preferred

  • Programming for FARO and Micro-Vu Measurement Equipment desired
