Shreeji-Mackinaw Corporation is seeking seven (7) full-time temporary Front Desk agents during the dates of April 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025.  The main worksite is located at 112 N. Nicolet St. Mackinaw City, MI 49701. Workers will also work at other locations at 150 Old U S 31 Hwy, & 412 U S Hwy, Mackinaw City, MI 49701. Workers will also be required to  work at their location at 680 U S Route 2, St. Ignace MI 49781.

This role of Front Desk Agent is to serve as the guests first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodations. This position is responsible for registering guests, accommodating their requests, providing room information including rates and amenities, financial paperwork, and communicating with other departments on the status of guest rooms. Front Desk Agents may be required to upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services. Hotel experience is preferred. Should be able to stand and move for long periods of time. Must be able to speak and understand clear English, handle adversity with ease and diffuse issues that may arise with professionalism. 

Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 7 hr shift within the hours of 8:00 am to 10:00 pm any day of the week; days off rotate, shifts vary. Weekends, nights and holidays are required. No minimum education is required to perform the job.

On-the-job training is provided. Shreeji-Mackinaw Corporation provides workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Transportation is not provided.

The wage rate is $14.99 per hour for the Mackinaw City and St. Ignace locations. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be taken unless voluntarily agreed upon by the employee. Overtime is not available. Wages will be paid bi-weekly, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. 

This posting is being made in connection with an application for H-2B workers.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. 

Housing is optional at 112 Old U.S 31 HWY, Mackinaw City MI 49701 at cost of $85 per week per worker. This deduction will be made from the worker's paycheck if agreed upon. This is not a condition of employment. In the alternate, the employer will assist the workers to find suitable housing within walking distance of the worksite.
