McLaren Health Care Supply Chain Management Business Intelligence Analyst - McLaren Careers in Grand Blanc, Michigan

Position Summary:

The SCM Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in facilitating data-driven decision-making processes, optimizing Supply Chain operations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role partners with leadership to proactively seek areas for operational improvement to drive standardization, cost savings, and time savings. Works with all Supply Chain teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities through the utilization of data analysis techniques.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned

:

1.

Works cooperatively with Corporate departments, key stakeholders, vendors, etc., in developing, implementing, and enhancing existing processes.

Relies on SCM teams to suggest operational improvement and identify shortcomings with current state. Develops processes and procedures then documents findings as part of a larger book of business to be used for new hire training, reference, baseline for analysis.

Provides strategic recommendations relating to business tools, processes, and projects that help drive system-wide efficiencies.

3.

Supports Supply Chain projects using extensive analytics.

Ability to carry out data analysis and data governance duties to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.

4.

Supports the annual and mid-year inventory processes including count reconciliation and contributes to reporting accuracy.

5.

Arranges and participates in meetings between vendors, Distributor, Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Corporate departments, and/or MHC subsidiary personnel to provide consultation to McLaren processes and standards.

6.

Develops standard operating procedures (SOP), job aids, process documents, and dashboards.

Maintains project trackers, savings, and rebate trackers across department.

7.

Utilize data visualization software and tools to enhance the impact of data used in decision making processes and resource evaluations.

8.

Perform root cause analysis, make recommendations, and implement solutions to drive system-wide improvements.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Two years’ experience in the application of statistical methods to the analysis of data

OR

  • MBA or MHA

Preferred:

  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

  • Two years’ experience in the application of statistical methods to the analysis of healthcare data

  • Two years’ experience in a data driven role in Supply Chain Management.

  • MBA or MHA
