Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry for an immediate direct hire opening in Smith County, TN (Outside of Nashville). The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, direct, and coordinate the Process Improvements utilizing Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Standard Work to improve manufacturing efficiencies throughout the manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• 2 + Years experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

• PLC programming experience or willingness to learn.

• Proficiency with CAD tools.

• Analytical problem-solving abilities.

responsibilities:

• Project Management - plan forecasted activities, monitor new programs, and develop project timelines.

• Tooling - Work with internal and external teams to ensure the proper tools, fixtures, andadditional equipment is in place to meet the required productivity requirements,quality objectives, and cost objectives

• Act as a liaison between the facility and the Japanese parent company for product launches,tooling adjustments, technical support, and maintenance troubleshooting.

• Champion APQP events. Develop and implement APQP documents such as Flow Chart, PFEMA,Standardized Work Instruction, Open Issues List, and other documentation
