Archer Western Construction, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Surveyor for the Brine Disposal Pipeline Improvements , in Goodyear, Arizona .

The Surveyor's will perform topography surveys using GPS technology and field layout.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete field surveying tasks such as topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection

• May compute calculations for data compiling and coordinate with Survey Party Chief

• Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology

• May perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction/field layout experience preferred

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
