Field Service Technician

Job Description

Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers. Pressure wash and effectively clean the customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc. Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs. Complete service-related documentation including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents. Attend training at our Air Academy as well as train with Service Technicians. Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance ranging from 220V to over 4,000V

• Troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems

• Conduct mechanical maintenance

• Changeover and install new parts, systems, or units

• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads

• Communicate with customers and Service Manager

• Complete service-related documentation

• Attend and participate in training sessions

• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems

Essential Skills

• Experience in field service, industrial or facility maintenance

• Electrical maintenance experience

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair

• Diagnose HVAC problems

• Preventative maintenance

• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS

• Capable of independent work

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Diesel maintenance experience preferred

• Welding and fabrication skills a plus

Work Environment

Hybrid role. Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager with travel to customer locations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Gonzales, Louisiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00
