Job Description

Support FLIR OEM customers technically. Primary technical contact for customers using FLIR OEM sensors and cameras. Role includes engineering project activities, product validation, documentation, problem solving, presentations, and reporting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers with design, integration, troubleshooting for thermal cameras and sensors.

  • Support OEM Sales Team and customers with technology demonstrations.

  • Provide product training for customers, sales reps and other FLIR personnel.

  • Provide data analysis, reports, and feedback within engineering as requested.

  • Create tech application notes, test documents, FAQs, user guides, product specifications.

  • Identifies, analyze, resolves complex problems affecting cameras and sensors.

  • Domestic and International travel, passport required.

Job Qualifications:

  • BS Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering required.

  • Strong programming skills (C/C++, Linux, Matlab, Python, tec.)

  • Presentation skills required. Large group presentations frequent.

  • Mechanical and electrical assembly skills required to complete projects.

  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$71,940.00-$96,140.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
