In this role you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge embedded systems for our MCU/MPU-based connected products. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Lead with a strong background in design and embedded systems to drive our product development initiatives.Job DutiesEmbedded System Architecture: Design and develop robust embedded system architectures for MCU/MPU-based connected products.Technical Leadership: Lead and facilitate key technical decisions, providing system technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of new product development projects.Requirements Management: Define and maintain comprehensive product requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technology options, contributing to the development and iteration of technology proof of concepts.Risk Minimization: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.Technical Reviews: Participate in and lead technical reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation.Develop custom demonstrations and presentations to convey technical solutions to clients.Providing technical support to clients during and after the implementation of solutions.Support and author proposals, white papers and other opportunity-shaping activities.Consistent interaction with both Engineering Leadership and Product Management team to help inform roadmap and priorities.This team will have scope that is globally distributed and responsible specifically for the execution of critical embedded programs.You will act as a force multiplier within the organization, facilitate cross team, cross department initiatives, and lead sophisticated dependencies.Lead, influence and drive process change and improvement and also lead, expand and develop this team and Develop critical metrics, program schedules to measure release health, predictability, and achievements.Anticipate risks and develop risk management solutions, identify failures, lead retrospective analysis, and help to develop action plans.Build high level understanding of products, projects and goals and regularly communicate program status and key issue to management.Drive the day-to-day operational aspects of embedded solutions development, coordinating across multiple development teams as well as R&D, QA, Release operations, etc.Work with development teams on test plans, execution, reviews, failure analysis and assessing overall quality and risk and work closely with engineers on architectural discussions and challenge design choices.You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions, wh le demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and a bias for action.Ensure that teams and programs run through methods and practices that optimize delivery, minimize risk, and increase efficiency.
