ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and execution of three key internally facing platforms: Access Management - Defines and governs user access hierarchy for our externally facing digital products. eRegistration for Medical Device Records - Ensures seamless registration and compliance tracking. Manufacturing Cloud Services - Supports our cloud-based manufacturing data and process management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, product ownership expertise, and agile leadership, including experience working with vendor agile teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive platform enhancements that improve security, compliance, and operational efficiency. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Product Ownership: Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Access Management, eRegistration, and Manufacturing Cloud Services. Ensure alignment with business goals, compliance needs, and digital product strategy. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives, technical debt, and operational improvements. Drive the Prioritization of the work for each sprint based on business objectives. Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog by defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies to ensure the team understands what needs to be built. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure the team is aligned and working efficiently. Help agile teams drive day-to-day decisions, capture the decisions and drive to completion. Triage and prioritize backlog items and last min requests/hot fixes. Resolve questions, manage dependencies on the team and across vendor teams and communicate priorities that emerge as stories are implemented. Define the business value delivered in each sprint. Cheerleader, builder of agile team culture and recognition. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, security, compliance, and development teams. Partner with external vendors to align development efforts and ensure product success. Collaborate with UX, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure the platforms meet regulatory and user experience requirements. Work with the external digital product team to ensure seamless integration of Access Management rules and hierarchy. WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role as a Scrum master, Software Developm nt, etc. preferably in regulated industry (MedTech, Pharma, Healthcare, financial services or similar). Strong knowledge of access management principles, including RBAC, authentication vs authorization, and least-privilege access models. Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS-based manufacturing systems. Proven track record of leading agile teams, including vendor agile teams. Ability to write clear, concise, and technically sound user stories and acceptance criteria. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business value. Demonstrated experience utilizing project management tracking/software tools and reporting deliverables. Experience with Agile methodology, roles, and responsibilities. Preferred: Previous experience as a product owner for an externally facing digital product. Experience working with API-based integrations and identity management solutions. Experience in medical device compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, MDR). Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions, such as Okta, Azure AD, or similar. Knowledge of ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Experience working with Jira and/or ADO. SALARY The salary for this position is expected to be between $104,800 - $147,900 and will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
