Liberty Diversified International Principal Business Systems Analyst - Packaging in Golden Valley, Minnesota

Description POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and technical Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead the support and improvement of all business applications used by our corrugated packaging business. The incumbent will facilitate collaboration across all plants, collaborating with teams to implement and encourage the usage of available features and custom components within the appropriate software applications. This individual will also perform administrative activities and configuration changes to the system and improve our processes and reporting capabilities. This full-time position reports directly to theManager of Business Systems. The primary work location for this position is Liberty Packaging in Golden Valley, Minnesota.It is a hybrid position with up to two days per week of remote work for good performers and at the manager's discretion. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with business users to understand business needs and to contribute to business system solutions. Assemble recommendations for various ways to address business needs. Implement and test new modules, reports, interfaces and customizations according to business needs. Communicate with end-users to support daily operations, answer questions, and provide training. Lead or assist with new implementations at various packaging plants. Create and maintain project plans for small to medium-size projects. Drive projects to completion in a timely manner. Help to prioritize and bring to the conclusion various system enhancements and other projects. Leverage organizational skills to develop plans and track activities. Manage vendor relationships and participate in the selection and integration of new applications. Manage competing and fluctuating business priorities while communicating with team members. Lead discussions about process improvement and bring forward best practice suggestions. Lead solutions design sessions and create process flows. Identify, track, and resolve all application-related issues in a timely manner. Coordinate and/or complete testing of application changes before promoting changes to production. Support reporting environments and report or dashboard development. Perform data uploads and exports from various areas using SQL or other reporting tools. Maintain applications in compliance with IT technical and architecture standards. Perform application management and monitoring for all production and test environments. Maintain security for users at the application level. Perform preventative, scheduled, and emergency application maintenance. Perform release upgrades and apply patches or fixes. Travel requirement of 10%. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree (in business, technology or related field) or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of applicable experience inclusive of the following: ERP systems and business processes; Manufacturing environment; MES systems and business processes; End-user support. Must be extremely organized and capable of good time management. Must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency. Must be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. Must be able to effectively interact with all team members as well as external partners. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Excellent communications skills. Excellent business acumen. A proactive approach to identifying and solving web-related challenges. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS At least 2 years of experience with standard reporting tools (Crystal Reports/SSRS Reports). Familiarity with Citrix and Windows Server environment. Experience with Amtech Imaginera/Encore ERP system. Experience with CTI (Corrugated Technologies Inc.) CorrPlan and/or CorrTrim software applications. Experience in a Corrugated Packaging business.
