ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Medical Education Physician Relations Summer Intern will assist with the development and implementation of HCP programs. The Medical Education Physician Relations Summer Intern will work directly with Medical Education team members to assist with a variety of the educational programs available. The Medical Education Physician Relations Summer Intern will have the opportunity to participate in team meetings and be assigned various administrative tasks. The Medical Education Physician Relations Summer intern plays a critical role in healthcare organizations by facilitating effective communication and building strong relationships between physicians and the healthcare system. They act as a liaison, providing support to physicians, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their needs are met. This is a hybrid position where you would work in the office a few times every week during the internship, so you must be in the Twin Cities for the duration of the internship. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Assist with the development and administration tasks of the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Faculty programs (Advisory Council, Leadership Development Training, Webinars, and Innovation Visit Center programs) Complete monthly faculty compensation reports Create physician bios for all newly added faculty members Collaboration with HCP repository creation and maintenance Consolidate HCP faculty Curriculum Vitae Continued maintenance on faculty master spreadsheet Assist in developing and improving the lead follow up process between previous conference attendees and the Inspire sales field team Continue to build out the conference field kit program and manage approvals Manage Faculty Resource page on internal software Streamline contract creation and renewal process with internal software Public speaking while on site execution of Medical Education programs Increase knowledge about faculty and KOL development and why it's important at Inspire Understanding the process of how to plan small to large program events from 5 - 50+ people Immerse in a fast-paced corporate environment where you will learn how to prioritize your work Building communication and developing relationships with many departments, including the Inspire sales field and executive leadership through video calls, phone calls, and email Off-Site volunteer activities along with Inspire intern events Opportunity for an end of internship presentation to showcase all the great work you accomplished WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM Required High School Diploma Actively working towards a four-year degree in Health Science, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Event Planning, or Business Administration Relationship building with ability to build rapport and trust with healthcare providers Experience in organizing high profile meetings and even s Strong writing, editing, and communication skills Detail-oriented with stellar organizational skills Excellent time management, prompt and punctuality Basic knowledge of project management and local MedTech companies Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Prior utilization of online meeting space (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools and applications Preferred Experience: Adaptability and resilience Ability to work collaboratively, strong team member Self-discipline to work independently, self-motivated Experience in planning and prioritizing your work Provide curiosity and inquisitiveness, eager to learn Physical Requirements: Standing or stationery for long periods of time during local HQ educational programs Occasionally move boxes and items weighing up to 20 pounds within the HQ office for various educational programs SALARY The hourly rate for this position will be $20/hour. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
