Responsibilities Serving as a Program Support Specialist GS-0301-11 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Cyber Division (CYD), under the Technical Training Operations Directorate (TTO) and located in Glynco, GA. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the acquisition of all training equipment and supplies for (CYD) Center Advanced (CA) Training Programs and for the formulation and management of the reimbursable tuition (RT) budget functions for the division. Typical duties include: Preparing purchase requisitions for items needed in Center Advanced and Basic Training Programs. Making credit card purchases for equipment and supply items as appropriate; reconciling purchase data and entering data in the FLETC financial system Reviewing current-year and prior-year obligation documents in order to make available unobligated balances for alternate spending options and to allow financial documents to represent more accurately the actual status of funds in the programs. Overseeing data corrections to ensure maintenance of accurate financial records for the CA Programs, (e.g., document report corrections, changes, etc.) Ensuring that financial documents related to all CA Programs are entered accurately and timely into the FABS System and the course cost database (CCDB) contained in SASS. Assessing and analyzing training program requirements to identify the proper data tracking mechanisms within the SASS, including registration process and completion status. Specialized Experience: You qualify at the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in Federal service, performing the following duties: 1) Developing and/or executing the program budget to ensure it is consistent with the program's current and future needs; 2) Preparing purchase requests for training item equipment and supplies in accordance with acquisition rules and regulations; 3) Utilizing financial computer programs to maintain budgetary and spending data; 4) Analyzing training program requirements to develop long term plans and identify potential problems; OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR An LL.M., if related; OR A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.
