CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND ASSESSMENT MANAGER: This is a highly responsible administrative position, in which the incumbent oversees all aspects of the capital improvement needs of the Agency and provides supervision to the housing inspector. RESPONSIBILITIES: The development, implementation and evaluation of capital improvement projects for the Authority; supervise the housing inspector and any temporary tenant coordinators; maintain the Authority\'s annual and 5-year plans; responsible for tracking and assessment of GHA assets; complete reports to regulatory agencies; responsible for oversight of construction contracts, including reviewing submittals, attending construction meetings, and site inspections. QUALIFICATIONS: College degree and two years of experience in a related field (engineering, construction management, architecture); previous supervision experience; experience in public housing a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills; computer skills; a valid MA Driver?s License. Bi-lingual a plus. Full benefits. 35hrs/wk. with a salary range of low to mid \$80,000. Position open till October 18, 2024, or until filled.
