Description
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE : The Early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment Program Assistant provides administrative and programmatic support to the Director of Early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment Programsin the planning and organization of early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment programming. The responsibilities of this position include data collection and analysis, advertising and recruitment support, facilitating and maintaining communication open communication with all stakeholders, and supporting the management of program schedules, needs, etc.The Early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment Program Assistantworks directly with, and reports to,Director of Early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment Programs.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Maintain open and effective communication with Children’s programming partners to ensure the effective growth and execution of all programs;
Maintain student records in order to support identification, billing, and transition in and out of Early Intervention;
Support the planning, development, organization, and implementation of program curricula;
Support the planning of specific activities and preparation of the schedule of activities within the program objectives;
Maintain cooperative relationships with staff to achieve a strengthening of the total program;
Present specific agency services to community and professional groups as appropriate;
Support the creation and maintenance of electronic data, billing, tracking, and outcomes systems for both Early Intervention and Children’s Enrichment;
Network and build community-based and business relationships to grow and benefit programming for the children and families served;
Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Early Intervention and Children’s Programs.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with or leading program initiatives;
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications to track budgets, create documentation, plan, collect data highly preferred;
Experience working with children and families preferred;
Bachelor's Degree in education, special education, child development, preferred;
