Job Description: Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

The Interventional Radiology Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Care is primarily provided within the Cardiovascular Lab department. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses and registered radiology technologists.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Angiogram of Multiple System
  • Peripheral Revascularization
  • Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheter
  • Nephrostomy Drainage Tubes
  • Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes
  • Central Line Placement
  • Vascular Access to Include Port Placement and Integrity
  • Pain Management Intervention
  • Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
  • Pre and Post-Care for Patient having Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsy
  • Carotid Stenting
Experience:
  • Previous IR experience current to 12 months - Required
  • Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric - Required
Certification Requirements:
  • ARRT
  • BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements: NY Rad Tech License - Required

Additonal License Requirements: NY license must be in hand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license
