Glendive Medical Center is seeking a surgical technologist to join our Surgery Department team. This is a full time position including on call hours with rotating holidays and weekends. The surgical technologist is an integral part of the team at GMC, who will work under the supervision of the surgeon and peri-op nurses to provide an efficient, safe, and supportive environment to the surgical patient. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in the theory and application of asepsis and sterile technique to combine anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate a surgeon's performance. Being a rural hospital, the surgical tech fills many roles including the hospital's sterile processing, acquisition of equipment and supplies, and one-on-one contact with surgeons and instrument reps.

• Graduate of accredited school or surgical technology or LPN nursing program
• One year of surgical experience strongly recommended
• Basic computer skills required
