GLENDIVE MEDICAL CENTER CT / MRI Tech in GLENDIVE, Montana
The Computed Tomography (C.T.) / MRI Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment and is able to operate the magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes as requested by the ordering physicians and under the direction of the radiologist. The technologist also facilitates image storage in the PACS system according to the procedures and protocols approved by GMC.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
- Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use CT and MRI equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
- Incumbents must be able to work stand-by and call-back duty and respond to a call within 20 minutes.
Education and Experience:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
- MT State License required.
- CT/MR Registries preferred, but not required.
- CT experience required (equipment Siemens go.Top)
- MRI experience preferred (equipment Philips 1.5T).
- BLS certification recommended.
