As a member of the Immersive Production Technology Team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of products and software solutions using cutting-edge technology to support our production, post-production, and marketing teams. Job Description We are looking for a talented Front End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Software Engineer focused on Immersive Technology, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable visual effects artists, production teams, and executives across all of the Walt Disney Studios banners to creatively and efficiently tell their stories. Collaborating closely with a team of skilled engineers and subject matter experts, you will contribute to building robust applications that drive our creative endeavors forward. You will be instrumental in building applications across various platforms, including the Apple Vision Pro, all with the goal of helping our Studio make our films.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for production workflows.

• Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences.

• Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories.

• Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes.

Skills and Requirements

• 3 plus years of industry experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / ReactJS

• Interest in the XR/VR space

• Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub

• Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred

• Location: Local candidates will need to be onsite 4 days per week(Burbank/Glendale)

• BS degree or equivalent work experience - Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL.

• Experience in working with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS or Azure

• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology null
