Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on the cable assembly and harnessing product areas. You will be responsible for creating detailed manufacturing work instructions for the build of mechanical assemblies, developing process improvements, and collaborating with the design engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed manufacturing work instructions for the build of mechanical assemblies.

  • Develop process improvements and best practices for the utilization of mechanical assemblies.

  • Work with the design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and potential cost reductions.

  • Collaborate with production floor operators to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

  • Create CAD drawings in Solidworks for tooling and various products.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in the aerospace industry.

  • Proficiency in creating work instructions and designing using Solidworks.

  • Strong experience in mechanical assembly processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, including internships.

  • Solidworks design proficiency.

Work Environment

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work in the Connectors Department and the Cable/Wire Harness Department. This role involves direct collaboration with operators on the production floor and requires proficiency in using Solidworks for creating CAD drawings. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
