Role Summary:
The Analyst, HR Operations position will be responsible for handling day-to-day HR transactions and maintaining a variety of global reports and queries for the HR team. This position will also participate in HR related systems development, testing, implementation and maintenance as well as special projects as required.
Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”
Process workflows for employee lifecycle data changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions and timekeeper actions, ensuring all employee data is accurately entered in SAP
Serve as primary user of DWA and NBCU HR-related systems to provide accurate data of diverse DreamWorks employee population to HR team
Fulfill company-wide report requests and ensure validity of reporting results (e.g., Salary Analysis reports, Anniversary reports, etc) in a timely and efficient manner
Provide HR reporting support and expertise as part of cyclical HR activity (e.g., Performance Reviews, Annual Merit and Bonus Processing, etc)
Acquire and maintain expertise in systems (e.g., SAP, SmartRecruiters, Clickboarding) to enable accurate processing
Proactively manage HR systems in order to ensure data integrity and streamline HR processes
Develop procedures, guidelines and documentation for various systems. Train others on the HR team or new users on new processes/functionality
Identify system defects and assist with process improvement opportunities
Partner with centralized HR Operations team on resolving systems issues
Provide back-up coverage and support for the HR team and additional projects as needed
Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience handling data (e.g. report writing, data analysis, research, etc.) and using SAP Business Objects or related data warehouse reporting tools, in a fast-paced environment
High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work effectively, manage multiple assignments with minimal guidance, prioritize tasks and deliverables to meet deadlines
Understanding of HR related Systems, preferably SAP HCM and Business Objects, SmartRecruiters and Clickboarding
Familiarity with HR processes, practices and organizational models
Ability to compile and analyze data
Ability to set reporting expectations for requestors as it relates to access, data and structures
Ability to maintain confidentiality of data
Effective written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain data and metrics to non-technical audiences
Strong decision-making skills and ability to use professional judgement
Customer-oriented individual with problem solving skills
Flexibility and adaptability in performing work duties
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
