Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to managing accounts receivable as part of the ongoing process of record keeping and financial details within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Process account receivable transactions.

• Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

• Draft and send invoices, credit memos, and other financial statements.

• Reviewing AR aging reports, following up on overdue accounts and determining necessary action.

• Support in the reconciliation of monthly statements and related transactions.

• Address client inquiries, research and resolve discrepancies.

• Participate in periodic audits.

• Cooperate with the AR Manager to maintain collection goals and general AR performance levels.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

• Proven experience of at least 2 years as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry, knowledge of SAP or other accounting software is a plus.

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
