Responsibilities: * Responsible for the can supply during production (i.e. full can, empty can, palletizers, and related equipment.) * Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment * Maintains records, logs and cost control of assigned equipment * Accurate and timely record keeping * Strives to uphold the allotted budget for repair and installation goals * Assisting labeling and shipping departments as needed * Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety rules/ regulations are being followed and enforced * Employee relations/supervision and training of seasonal staff in work area * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Two-year college degree and/ or equivalent mechanical/ repair experience preferred * Must be able to sit, stand, push, pull, twist, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Bilingual in Spanish and English helpful * Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment * Ability to lead and train personnel Seneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all, through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
