Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, extensive experience in financial analysis, and the ability to work with complex data sets. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

· Complete variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.

· Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.

· Prepare recurring and month end journal entries, corporate allocation journal entries, performing variance analysis and preparing monthly internal financial reporting for senior leadership and external financial reporting.

· Record intercompany transactions and maintain accurate and reconciled intercompany balances. Investigate discrepancies and identify corrections.

· Oversee AP, AR and Payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing and posting.

· Utilize Excel and Power Query to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

· Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and controls.

· Identify opportunities for efficiencies and streamlined processes within the accounting department and across other areas of the business.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Minimum of 10 years of comprehensive experience in accounting.

· Knowledge of GAAP.

· Great Plains Experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and Power Query.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
