DirectMed Inc Business Development Manager in Glen Cove, New York

Business Development Manager (Glen Cove, NY) Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products. Prepare tenders, proposals and quotations. Organize sales visits. Generate comprehensive mold-flow analysis for new items. Support other members of the sales team by training them in the use of the companys services and product lines. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototype. Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements. BA degree in Business required. 2 years experience as a business manager or business specialist required. Knowledge of USP, FDA, ISO and CE MARK requirements for medical device components and Class I, II and III medical devices required. Technical background with understanding and Proficiency in auto CAD, mold flow and 3D modeling software required.
