Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Procurement Analyst for a power generation company located in Glastonbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience handling the full procurement lifecycle for aeroderivative components, and will have a strong understanding of SAP. The Procurement Analyst will perform various purchasing functions as well as manage the procurement lifecycle for various gas turbine parts.

Responsibilities include:

• Locating suitable suppliers

• Obtaining bids/proposals

• Negotiating

• Issuing purchase orders and handling purchase order packages

• Tracking and expediting deliveries

• Ensuring Quality requirements

• Aftermarket support

• Engineering changes

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Operations or related

• 3 years of experience with the procurement lifecycle

• 3 years of experience with SAP - Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

• Experience sourcing aeroderivative or gas turbine parts null
