Key Responsibilities
Instructional Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and district standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
- Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
Classroom Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Assess student progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and growth.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate instructional activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Student Support:
- Address individual student needs by providing additional support and resources.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment to promote student's social and emotional development.
- Identify and respond to student's unique learning challenges and collaborate with support staff when necessary.
