Siemens Energy Team Lead Wax 1st Shift in Gibsonton, Florida

A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be working with the Team to ensure that the Wax product is moving through the designated milestones, ensuring that the operators are safe and remain focused on their daily work lists and that engineering, quality, safety, or management help is provided when issues arise. As the first point of contact for the operators, the Team Lead will help problem solve and keep parts moving so that the team can accomplish its goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform work safely by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to make the Wax Department a safe work environment.

  • Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of Manufacturing.

  • Partner with the Wax department supervisor to create a daily plan to meet Production targets.

  • Create and assign work lists for each employee in the department, ensure that employees remain productive, and produce quality work.

  • Performs direct Production Work 50% of the time.

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed and cross-training as needed.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system and read Engineering instructions.

  • Previous experience as a wax operator or Team Lead is preferred.

  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.

  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
