Within this role you will:

  • Incorporate principles of adult learning in the design and delivery of effective training.

  • Facilitate training to designated clinical staff and non-clinical staff in the organization’s E.H.R.; may include specialized training based on job role function.

  • Training of designated clinical and non-clinical staff in the introduction to key job specific concepts, practices, and processes.

  • Completion of E.H.R. training reports.

  • Contributes to the development of a detailed E.H.R. training plan including policies and procedures.

  • Contributes to the planning and coordination of training resources.

  • Responsible for incorporating changes in agency policy and procedures into trainings, and the re-training of existing staff resulting from E.H.R. promotions and other improvements.

  • Responsible for the measurement of training satisfaction/ recommendations for improvement of training processes; includes establishing and reporting against identified benchmarks.

  • Be a participant in testing new internal workflows in the E.H.R. system.

  • Responsible for maintaining, revising, and working collaboratively to create and update all training materials and content (checklists, flowcharts, screen shots, training videos).

  • Participate in committees relative to training content and/or areas of interest in clinic operations or clinical content.

  • Performs other related duties and activities, as required.

What makes you a great candidate?

We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job:

  • Master’s Degree in a program that will grant licensure in the state of New York (QHP) required.

  • Minimum of three years of behavioral health experience preferred.

  • Training background preferred.

  • QHP preferred (LMSW, LMHC or CASAC).

Must have the ability to:

  • Maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

  • Learn and/or apply applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Analyze and conceptualize clinical documentation.

  • Learn/apply knowledge of adult educational/learning theory and practice.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage working on a hybrid remote/onsite team among a variety of stakeholders/departments.

  • Be flexible and adjust communication style to the audience.

  • Be adaptable and adjust accordingly in a changing healthcare/work landscape.

Location

This position is located at our corporate office at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville, NY and also works partially remote.

Hours

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, however, hours may vary based on training need and could include evening hours.

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $50,000-55,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

  • Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting

  • Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.

  • Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
