Job Summary

• Daily cleaning and supplying of patient and/or resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, clinic and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services (ES) Department.

• Will use cleaning devices; including wet mops, wringers, dusters, commercial vacuum cleaners and other necessary tools, products and supplies.

• Works under the general supervision, with work subject to check by the Environmental Services Coordinator.

• It is important that employees are regular and consistent in their attendance.

• Avera’s responsibility to employees includes a posted schedule be developed based on department needs, staff flexibility, staff requests and FTE requirements.

• Employees are responsible for reporting to work on time according to the schedule.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Graduate/GED is preferred.

• No previous experience required; on-the-job training.

Work Schedule

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm as needed; PRN

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
